Anxiety
You feel restless, on edge, and find yourself worrying. You try to sleep, but your mind is on overdrive. You just want to be able to relax, sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. You are tired of being irritable. Or maybe your body is tense, and you are experiencing nausea and digestive issues, these are symptoms of anxiety. Trauma
Trauma can be anything that feels overwhelming and too difficult to overcome. It can come in many different ways natural disaster, sexual assault, combat, car wreck, abuse, or loss of a loved one. These are some of the ways that quickly come to mind. However, it may also come through neglect, relationships, unmet emotional needs in childhood, and chronic daily stressors that build up over time. You may feel exhausted, have difficulty sleeping, experience flashbacks or nightmares, hold a deep sense that something is wrong with you, feel lonely, or have intrusive thoughts. You may just feel zoned out and numb.

EMDR
EMDR uses the your body’s natural healing ability to reduce the distress associated with an event or trauma, this includes visual images, emotions, and body sensations. EMDR is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), American Psychiatric Association (APA), and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS).
